Privacy Policy
We'd rather explain this in plain language than bury it in fine print. Here's exactly what this website collects, and what we do with it.
1. Who we are
Confidosoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a software development company with offices in India, the UK and the USA. For the personal data you give us through this website, we are the data controller. Our registered address is 235-238 Florence Pride, Sun Pharma Road, Vadodara, Gujarat 390020, India, and you can reach us at info@confidosoft.com.
2. What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the contact form: your full name, corporate email, region, which service you're interested in, and your message. That's it. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, we don't require accounts, we don't send newsletters, and we don't place cookies that track you. Our cookie policy says the same thing on its own page.
3. Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
- To check whether we can genuinely help, and if so to put together a proposal.
- To keep records of past enquiries if we go on to work together.
- To follow up with you, but only where you've asked us to or where a proposal is still live.
4. Legal basis (GDPR & UK GDPR)
We process what you send us under legitimate interest: answering your request and considering whether to do business with you. Where you consent to follow-up, consent is the basis for that. We do not rely on "legitimate interest" to do anything you wouldn't reasonably expect.
5. Who we share it with
Enquiries from this form are handled by our own mail server, so nothing is passed to a third-party form service. Two processors touch the message on its way to us: our web host, which stores this site, and our email provider, which delivers the message. Both are bound by data-processing terms. We never sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we never have.
6. International transfers
Our team is spread across India, the UK and the USA, and you may be anywhere. If your data moves across borders to do our job, we rely on the mechanisms the GDPR recognises (adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses), and we honour EU or UK data-residency requirements when you need us to.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as it's helpful to respond properly, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a conversation is ongoing. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw any consent you've given. Email info@confidosoft.com and we'll act on it without delay, and always within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. For UK readers that's the ICO.
9. Data security
This site is served over HTTPS, access to your details is limited to the people who need them, and we keep processors to the same standard. We test and review access as a matter of habit, not as a one-off exercise.
10. When we end up working together
If we become your development partner, handling your data, or data about your customers, is governed by our agreement and a data processing agreement (DPA), which we sign as standard. We treat client data as confidential, never use it to train our models, and transfer IP to you under the terms of the engagement.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes that affect you directly (rather than wording tweaks) get called out when you've given us a way to reach you.
